Ball recommendation please
« on: March 01, 2012, 07:08:00 PM »
I'm just getting back into bowling after a break and I haven't really kept up to date on ball technology.  Any one have a new ball recommendation for a low rev full roller bowling on a medium oiled THS?  Thanks.

Perhaps a Storm Crossroad or a Victory road would do the trick!,

Maybe one of Brunswick's Karmas.

I agree with Dizzy, the Blue Karma is something special for the price.

The Reckless is a good benchmark ball too

The Blue/Black Karma solid would be a great choice!

Elevate, 508a, and too reckless are the best all around balls I've seen in a while. And I'm not on any staff

As Deadwood said, those are great balls.  Look also to possible clearance items if pennies need pinching like

- Reign Supreme

- Brunswick Damage series

- Roto Grip Nomad series

bowling.com has the Storm HyRoad for $114.95 delivered.  It's a great ball.  --  JohnP

I would recommend the Track 607A. Out of everything that I have ever thrown, this is the most versatile ball that I have ever seen covering from medium-dry to medium-heavy house shots and it holds it's own on the tougher shots as well. Also takes surface changes easily, which is a bonus.

Jock.......Just buy something that LOOKS GOOD.  Throwing a fullroller pretty well limits your reactions.   Just make sure your driller knows how to set up a ball for a "fullroller"
