900 Series Question - One ball?

I know there have 19 recorded 900 series.  Just a fantastic feat regardless of conditions. My question is does anyone know if anyone has bowled a 900 using more than one ball in there set?  I always hear of the ball they used and it always seems like it is only one named.  Just curious as at our lanes it is really difficult to get thru entire set using same ball, lanes just break down too much.  Any thoughts on this?  
 
ps: Please dont turn this into a bashing of bowlers who shot 900 etc.  I just am trying to determine if the obvious factor of not having to move much and not having to switch balls much is a huge factor in shooting 900 not that I am plannign on getting one anytime soon.  I did have a 4 bagger last week though, 1/9 of the way there baby!

I have seen a guy throw back to back 300s. He did it with one ball. It seemed to me that the key was that it was a weaker ball so he started a lot farther right and then was able to just keep moving left. That's the way it worked for him. I have a feeling that's kinda the way it goes most of the time but I don't actually know...

I would assume that most bowlers would rather adjust their feet/hand/eyes than change balls when they have a string going.  

I use whatever ball works for me.

I believe the person from Texas that shot 900 last season used two different Reigns during his set.

Cannot speak to that particular bowler, but I know that on more than one occasion, I used one of each ball (not the Reign) on a different lane from the beginning but with different drillings.  Sometimes you just get a different look that leaves you with the gut instinct to follow instead of trying to fight one lane even while locked in on the other...

 

Same ball drilled differently is not that dissimilar from those nights where urethane works on one lane and pearl particle on the other.  Some tournament blocks played out in the same manner...
