Title: MB placement

Does the MB placement determine the hook shape (angular to smooth)? and length?I think i know the answer but just want to confirm with others.

What can i expect in placing the MB in the following degrees to my PAP:

90 degrees =
60 degrees =
45 degrees =
30 degress =
