Looking at your profile, seeing that you bowl 30 games per week and are averaging 150, may I sincerely suggest you find a good local coach? I think you may be practicing the wrong things.

Making most of your 1,2, and 3 pin spares should bring your average up to the 180 mark, at least, especially using a Blue Dot. I'd forego buying any new strike balls, until you get some basics down pat; a new coach or a coach may be the most valuable thing you can do, given the time you have to bowl 30 games a week and the money you have to buy new balls.

I just received a ball that I think is GREAT! There are going to be bowlers that will remark that after using the ball a short time it is difficult to clearly state an opinion .. HOWEVER .. I will tell you that this ball is TERRIFIC! I used it on the conditions you defined and I bought it through MIKE CIMBA at 1-888-884-8734 for a REASONABLE PRICE delivered .. I think it's BETTER THEN THE GOLDEN NUGGET which I also have .. the ball is the ROTO GRIP APOCALYPSE .. I have a similar style to yours!

ON EDIT: CHARLEST .. was answering while you were typing .. no intentions of contradicting!

There are actually a lot of medium-heavy oil balls around. A lot depends on how you throw the ball: PAP, axis tilt, ball speed, and rotation. Note that there are some that go longer and then hook (like the Deuce, called a hockey-stick) and some that have more gradual arcs (like the Ebonite V2 Sanded). Here are some that a few people have found to be decent balls.

Gradual, arc-like hook:
Brunswick Raging Inferno (particle)
Ebonite V2 Sanded (resin)
Roto-Grip Rush (resin)
Dyno-Thane Element (resin)
Columbia Wicked B/R/T
Storm Super Charge

More hockey stick hook:
Roto-Grip Apocalypse  (resin)
Dyno-Thane Anomaly (resin)
Ebonite Jungle Green
MoRich Hercules

If you want to stick with storm I have heard alot of good things about the Reloaded on medium to heavy oil.  Check out bowlersbargains.com if you don't mind half weights.  You can pick one up for around 110 shipped.

My  Fear Factor does really well on meduim to heavy oil lanes. The cover stock is the monsoon mt soild particle, 800 grit matte.Took me a lil time to adjust cause i shifted the weight block but i'm really am impressed with this ball.
