 I just sent a ball to Salt Lake City Monday and the cost was under $24.00  for me.  Thats a big difference then this guy wanting $43.82 .

lol...here we go again. $38.57 to my house, via UPS. That's almost three times what it usually is for that same trip.

I think some people on ebay charge more on shipping because of ebay fee hikes. Ebay charges a percentage of what your item sells for. Charging alot on shipping and charging little on price will save him some fees. If he charged actual shipping he probably would have just started the ball at a higher price. Just a way around some of the fees. This practice is usually not bad for the buyer because bids won't get as high as if the shipping was cheaper so you end up on average paying around the same thing.

As an aside...if you're thinking of bidding on the ball, get a Durometer reading on it first.  I know of several 16s from the HZ lot that were mismarked Touring Editions.

I saw another ball on EBAY that the ball was $74 and the shipping was $40.
