What was Walter wearing at end of game, shin guard?

Watched the presentation of USBC Masters, at end Walter took off , what looked like almost a soccer shin guard????? Anyone help out clarify what that was?

never seen a bowler wear one before...

might have been, might have hit his leg on the down swing once and bruised it. Thus got a shin guard and might have turned it sideways to help proctect it if he did it again. I didnt see what you saw b/c i was at work. But thats just speculation on what it might have been.

i think u r talking about the thing walter uses on his knees, if u watched pba in the summer, u should find it.
