what would be better?
« on: January 11, 2004, 04:40:24 PM »
i bowled on a shot last night that had lots of carry down so there wasn't any backends at all.  a buddy of mine on the other team with a very similar style to me, higher revs ave to higher ball speed, he probably throws a little harder usually.  he slowed his ball way down and stayed inside more playing the third arrow.  i moved way out and played harder and straghter, around 5 at the arrows and letting walk up to the pocket kinda like Norm Duke WRW on the show this weekend with a lot less success...lol...he blasted me but that is mostly because i bowled horribly, has nothing to do with the shot.  in general what is the better idea? or would it be a prefence thing?

i didn't mean to imply that he had more revs...even though he probably does now that i think about it...he does throw harder and we usually play about the same line, so i guess he would need more revs or stronger equipment to get it to flip as much with the higher speed.  i am more then capable of slowing down and playing that same shot....i was just asking which perticular shot would be better....not necasarily for me but in general...
