Hey i have been thinking about doing a BR gathering in Michigan at the beginning of next season, and was wondering who would be interested from the Michigan AREA.

I mean i aint sure what most ballreview gatherings do, but i was just thinking of having some potgames going and doing some regular bowling, n stuff and then talking massive smack and then everyone going out for drinks n food.

if anyone has any other ideas let me know

What other "houses" are there in teh OC area, there are several in my area.  300 Bowl, Century Bowl, Air Way lanes, Lakewood, Cherry Hill North.  Out of all of them the first 2 listed are the by far the best.

Century would be good for a meeting place, they run a all you can bowl special mondays after 9:30-12:00, just to hang out and shoot the bird, theres no leauge so the lanes are fresh.

Hey all, count me in.  I live in Swartz Creek, near Flint.  I say...why have one get together, when we could have 2!!!  I think we should have one in Grand Rapids area, and one on the east side of the state.  Perhaps one in June/July, and one in late August.  I am running sport tourneys again this summer, so if you would like to use one of those as a get-together weekend, we can do that.  Or not, either way.

I personally LOVE the new Airway Lanes in Kalamazoo.  AMF ran the place in the ground, then gutted the place.  New owners sunk a LOT of money into the place, and WOW was it worth it!!!  In G.R. area, I personally think Spectrum Lanes is a fantastic bowling center.  Very modern indeed.  I am good friends with the folks that own Templins Sunset Lanes in Allegan.  Small town in between G.R. and K-zoo sorta.  No bar there though.

East side of the state, we could go just about anywhere.  I have many good friends on the east side as well.  If nobody else wants to organize, I can do it.  I think It would be fun if we made this an east side/west side challenge thing.  The Canadians could join with the east siders, and anybody from Indiana/Chicago area could bowl with the west siders.  Or we could all just get together, bowl, and drink til we pass out in the gutters!
