Well I've tried to get some Michigan get togethers going for a while now, and usually maybe one person responds.

I give up.

I was going to joke about the same thing Brian.  Michigan is supposed to have the largest concentration of bowlers in the country.  Every time a get together is talked about, no one wants to drive to anyone else's house.  LOL.  SrKegler has driven all over the country.  Thongprincess has flown cross country several times.  I've driven to Orlando and Winston-Salem twice, and might drive to Dallas in a few weeks.  Jeffrevs, Clutch, Mojo, and Joey-bag-of-doughnuts have managed to meet a few times.  I guess they're the exception.

Hey Brian, thanks for the congrats.  Lovely young lady?  Nah that couldn't have been her

(Glad she doesn't read this board)

Busted.  Just who was she then??  Huh, wait till you get home.  DO NOT expect any cookies for a while.

BTW, you will not need any new bowling balls, by the time I get thru with you you'll have a pair big enough to use.

Thank you for the compliment Brian, its nice to see there are some bowlers with taste

I'll be out monday night running r/c trucks but would like to go bowling close by on tuesday night.maybe rosebowl or another place close by?maybe if a few of us east siders get together we would muster up enough courage to hit that sport shot tourney later on  in august.

I live in Calumet(aka BFE). Tis' quite the long haul(9+ hours to Lansing) down below the bridge, though I have gone down there to bowl(back when the Majors had a televised final). Due to financial constraints, I've only bowled once since Nationals(early June). These get-togethers sound like so much fun, but, as I said, it's a looong way to drive.

Hey Drillbit, I'm going to Escanaba sometime soon.  Perhaps we can get together and throw some games.

LMAO, nice one (whomever you are)  And you should know, I already have a pair big enough to use.  Still trying to find a nice 2 ball tote that provides support in all the right places.    Seeing that post freaked me out for a minute, almost thought it was time for a handle change.  The real future Mrs. Guzman got a kick out of the post as well

Six Pack , you bet and they are the old dry one's at that !!!

I take it you have visited the hell hole of the north ??
the owners said last summer that they were re-doing the lanes, changing the surface which we voted league fee increases to pay for it. Guess What !!

new carpet and glow bowling   GEE Thanks.

any one gets up north give me a shout, I'll show you what a true butcherhouse is !!

averaging 200 here is like 225 ++ anywhere else !!

my parents used to live in Alanson.I kinda miss the old place, the way the ball would move in the groves in the wood.it was funny to me because I knew I didn't bowl there on a league.
