My husband sells on Ebay for a living. I spend a lot of time there looking for stuff - especially bowling equipment. I've found the same thing. However, to give the sellers the benefit of the doubt - these folks probably found the ball at a garage sale for a buck, and don't have a clue about any part of the game. Most (certainly not all) sellers will gladly change or amend their listing if it is in error, and misrepresenting the merchandise. Those who don't should be reported to Ebay. (try support@ebay.com). Ebay stays on top of this kind of stuff -as they should.
Speaking of ignorant sellers - I was at a garage sale a while ago, and the seller had a plastic galaxy 300 ball with conventional drilling, that weighed around 12 pounds. It was in one of those ultra cheap vinyl bags, and had a pair of totally worn out shoes with it. They were asking $50. I explained to the seller that the whole setup would be worth around $10 on a very good day - but that it probably wouldn't sell unless it was marked down to $2 or $3.
I was told, in a very authoritative voice, that ALL bowling balls now cost over $200 each, so that ball was a tremendous bargain. Period. I took the seller over to my car, showed her the 12 bowling balls in the back, and said that I really did know what I was talking about. She accused me of taking advantage of her. Oh, well. She must have listed the outfit on Ebay next...

I start each day with yoga and meditation. I put my right foot under my left thigh. I put my left foot under my right thigh. I arch my back as much as I can, and then I begin my mantra: Ouch, oh, that hurts.
