mid-price ball for oil
« on: May 14, 2009, 04:17:29 AM »
I was just wondering if there was a ball out there that would give me a decent reaction in oil that is in the mid-price range. I dont expect something with a reaction like the Rogue Cell in this price range. Just something that will give me some type of reaction. Was thinking maybe Street Rod Solid.

No,  no way, no....^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Try a Gamebreaker...or a Noize, or a Acid hammer...

Adjust the cover if needed....

I would suggest a maxx zone, or a t-road solid, or the gamebreaker!

I second the Columbia 300 Noize.  It handles oil pretty well.

Another vote for the 900Global Maniac.  It has been discontinued, so you can get them at a very affordable price.

Ogre Particle----handles all the oil you could want and is easily tunable for lighter than heavy oil. Great Ball!!

I third the noize.  If you go to www.buddiesproshop.com you'll see the Noize for 79.95 or and Arch Rival for the same.

don't know how the acid compares but maybe the Anger.. it is a sweet ball ..
pretty cheap too..
just keep it dull and it is a pretty good ball for oil..
shine it up a bit and it will work great for a number of conditions..

I looked on Buddies.  They had the Noize listed for $107.95 and werren't even carrying any of the Rivals...

Are they listed somewhere special on Buddies site?

By "mid-priced", what exactly do you mean?  At times, you can catch equipment on closeout sales that is priced cheaply, but is still "top-of-the-line" stuff.

If you don't mind buying off the internet from a reputable dealer, go to the link below and check out some of the stuff. real good prices on some surprisingly good stuff.

Those Break solids look good and handle decent amounts of oil with some surface adjustments.
