mid-price ball for oil
« on: May 14, 2009, 04:17:29 AM »
I was just wondering if there was a ball out there that would give me a decent reaction in oil that is in the mid-price range. I dont expect something with a reaction like the Rogue Cell in this price range. Just something that will give me some type of reaction. Was thinking maybe Street Rod Solid.

I agree. The Ogre can handle ANY oil for most people. Sand it down to a finer grit than the stock 1000 grit (FEPA) Abralon and it will handle medium to medium-heavy oil.

I will second...third...whatever....the Ogre Particle.  It'll handle oil and really does react like a steroid monster Reactive ball.

Mid price i would say Noize , Copperhead ,Maxx Zone. Hyroad. There is a bunch out there but my main choice would be the Noize . Strong cover stock with weaker core to help u get the ball down the lane and still recover. If u look around u can find most these balls very cheap and depends on how u throw the ball to say which would better for what ur looking for

The Noize by Columbia 300. Great Ball. I bought it for exactly the same reason you are looking for. Shot 792 & 705 last two weeks of league with this ball. Best hooking ball in that price range.
