Mike Jasnau..................

I took a lesson from him while in Vegas. Very personable and a good instructor. Well worth the $100 that he charges. He actually went well over the hour with me in order to make sure that Iunderstood the changes he wanted me to make.
He DOESN'T make you bowl the entire hour. He watches you throw a couple of shots, tapes you, then shows you the changes you need by comparing you to a PBA member that's closest to your swing. Then he shows you what you should change, lets you practice it,then tapes you again to show you the difference whn you first walk in to what you are after the changes have been made.

You get a paper review of things to help you remember what to practice. The DVD does have his voiceover on it as a commentary. He also asks you to check out the DVD when you get home. He said that if it doesn't work to call him and he'll make another copy and mail it to you free of charge.
A very good teacher and instructor.

So I jump ship in Hong Kong and make my way over to Tibet, and I get on as a looper at a course over in the Himalayas. A looper, you know, a caddy, a looper, a jock. So, I tell them I'm a pro jock, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Lama, himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald... striking. So, I'm on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one - big hitter, the Lama - long, into a ten-thousand foot crevasse, right at the base of this glacier. Do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga... gunga, gunga-galunga. So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

I would also like to thank Mike for the lesson I received recently. I have been bowling for over 35 years in leagues, tournaments, 26 years at Nationals and have maintained an average of over 230 on house shots and also in our travel league. I now prefer the challenge of the tougher leagues and tournaments and understand not all bowlers do. I do also bowl in  PBA leagues and an occasional Senior regional event as time and distances permit.  My point is, I think Mike can help anyone of any level of bowling skill.  Anyone who thinks this man has nothing to help you with, whatever your ability level, would be plesantly surprised.    His set-up with the video and audio system are amasing. He does not rebuild your game but fine tunes it. The visual he showed me of my game with minor flaws was priceless. You can not even feel the  flaws without seeing them for yourself. The muscle memory and many years of just being a little bit off can fool you,yet still  it can be changed. I can feel the effects and see differences in accuracy and ball reaction consistancy in just a few practice session already. He is one of the most positive people I ever met. I was self taught in bowling and never had a lesson before, I am glad I listened to some of the people on this forum and called Mike. Best money I spent on bowling perhaps ever.  Thanks again Mike..see you in Reno
