On the PBA show they talked several times about the pattern of the lane condition and the danger of an out of bounds area.
But as CJ posted in the PBA forum they are given an extensive period of time on the lanes for practice before the show. So they all set out to blow a hole in the pattern give themselves room.
My question is; are they really bowling on the Shark Pattern (B) anymore?
While I’m sure that it is still tougher than a typical house shot scores were pretty high this week. And I believe scores might continue to be high as since all games are being bowled on one pair of lanes.
Could one of the major skills a PBA player now have to learn is how to use a 300 grit ball to break down the lane in their favor during practice?
