I was looking forward to it since last wednesday, but couldn't make it cause of a sinus infection. Turns out I have a nasal polyp too.
I figure with all the smoking going on the last place I would want to be with a sinus infection is a bowling alley. Inhaling smoke would make me miserable.
Theres always next week.

California? To visit, sure. To live? Nope (earthquakes!).

I wish that was my reason for not having to bowl. See, I have pretty bad knee problems and last thursday night, my left knee(the good one) went into severe stiffness, soreness and pain after I slid on the approach after a shot. The pain and discomfort was right above my kneecap. I couldnt bend my knee and it felt like something in there wanted to pop. So I had to take blind scores for the second and third games of league. I rested it all weekend and tried to bowl on monday night with a brace but it still hurt a bit. I am not sure what is wrong but am going to see a doctor in 2 weeks. I hope this doesnt affect my participation in bowling this summer. I was going to get coaching lessons and bowl 1 league. It would kinda suck if this forced me to take the summer off.

I hate to miss the League Bowling .. Summer leagues are a little tougher to have 100% attendance .. vacations/family visits/etc .. there are some things you just can't get around (or plan for)!
ROCK .. take care of yourself .. once you injure the knees it's tough to get back .. take the two weeks off till you see the doctor .. don't aggravate the knee.
