ONE BOWLING BALL SERIES FOR ARSENAL
« on: July 28, 2004, 11:18:01 PM »
Would it be the Infernos?  Maybe the V2 line is your choice.  Big Blue, X-Factors or several other to look at.  From Ebonite the Savages has just about the entire range covered and Hammer has the Blade series.

Lets here what you think, I am yet undecided because few cover the entire range needed but the Blade line seems close.

Promoting some talk, thats all boys and girls........

The "master" line has almost everything covered except light oil, which is nothing a little polish cant fix. Note that I say the master line, not the x-factor line though. Now if you mean the same ball, but like different variations (x-factor, deuce, re-loaded, triple x, triple xtreme so forth) I would still say the x-factor line. ALTHOUGH, it depends what you see most. The V2 line has light to medium-ish covered, x-factor line has light/medium to heavy covered.

I diagree with x factor series b/c there isnt really a dry lane ball. I'd say the blades and monsters were pretty close but still a small gap I think...

Just my 2 cents...

Ok, I admit your right. I didnt think of the monsters. They DO have everything from light oil, up to heavy.

Once the Burgandy/Purple/violet Gargoyle comes out that will be a good line.

I myself am putting to gether and all Executioner arsenal. a few Charcoals,
a Purple Ice, and a Crimson.

The V2 line is a good one as well.  I have been thinking about trying one,
but don't know what to try.

Would the Flipside Series from Columbia count??

Have a ton of equipment to choose from and cover most any condition...

Just a question, in your profile you say your not brand loyal, so why are you limiting yourself to one line now? If you look at the different manufacturers, each excels on different patterns. for example on heavy oil most ball companies carry heavy oil balls, but most people look for an animal or a mayhem or a super carbide. Same with mediums, most would look for the V2s or a silver streak solid or an inferno. I guess what I'm trying to say is nobody is paying you to throw their equipment like a pro gets, so don't limit yourself to one brand or one line. I tried that with Columbia once and that's all it took and now I never have more than two balls of the same company. Right now I carry roto, storm, dynothane, and lane 1, all of with I think IMO are the best for each condition I drilled them for.

I think it is more of a theoretical question.

Bowlingkid, if you look at the original post he says " I am yet undecided because few cover the entire range..." Sound to me like he want to put an arsenal together.
