Title: MoRich finds a new home...
Post by: tenpinspro on April 05, 2004, 02:23:50 PM
For those who love Brunswick and it may end up affecting Lane 1 as well...guess who's coming to dinner?

http://www.bowlersjournal.com/intelligencer/display_article?id=78

MoRich has moved over to Brunswick for production.  Funny though, Brunswick dispelled mass bias for years, even spending a million dollars on "Throw Bot" to show that mass bias had no significant influence...but I guess everything changes in time.  They used to hide their mass bias production line under Revolution....can you picture a Diamond core offset with mb? Hmmmmm........is this a good or bad?

Rick, I think your comment that reads "...has moved over to Brunswick for production" really says it all.

I don't think it has to do with Big B supporting the mass bias theory and technology that Mo uses, but that they struck a deal for covers and production..

But hey!.......who the hell am I

ON EDIT: From the article;
quote:
Jim Panici,Vice President, Consumer Products, Brunswick
Bowling. "....We look forward to new and exciting
technological advances that will come with this
relationship. Mo Pinel has long been an innovator in
this industry and we, at Brunswick, know that both companies will benefit from this manufacturing and R&D agreement."

Hmmm, based upon 'that' statement,...maybe I was wrong....

King, that would be "its" and "affected", not "it's" and "effected".

I, too, think it was a good decision on MoRichs part.  I heard Columbia 300 is filing for bankruptcy protection.  They aren't doing well.  This may have been the deciding factor for the change.

I would like to see the Mayhem core in the Activator cover.  Wow!

Hey King of The Mill,

Was it Ray Edwards behind the "Phantoms"?  Thanks.
