I have heard there are alot of good houses in Seattle. I bowled at one in Everett when I lived there called Glacier Lanes. It was family owned and always clean (house, approaches and lanes), very nice people there.

The nicest center in Seattle anymore is West Seattle Bowl. South of Seattle I would say is Secoma Lanes in Federal Way, in Tacoma I would go with either Bowlero Lanes or Pacific Lanes. North of Seattle I would go with Robinhood Lanes. Further north than that I don't really know.
Tacoma has more good scratch leagues in my opinion. There are generally swiss trio scratch events

every month from September/October until May. Then there is ABT, a 9-tap tour

, and then WCT's

I mainly bowl the swiss trios.

Pacific has a great team swiss - I think it's in March. the one "formerly known as the Leilani Swiss" was held in January - I think it lives on, but I'm not too sure.
And Portland's only 4 hours away...
