Most popular ball in your house right now?

Just curious -- list the ball and the city where you bowl.

For me:

Location: Prattville, Ala. (just north of Montgomery)
Most Popular Ball: Hammer Black Widow Pearl by about 2x over second place
Most Popular Company: Ebonite

2nd is probably Hammer with the Black Widow line

Ball that has came out in the last 6 months or so: Black Widow Venom and Psycho

I'm thinking Virtual Gravity.  I see a few more of those than any other one ball.  I bowl in Tacoma, WA.

Off hand I would have to say the Hammer Black Widow is the most seen ball series followed by the Inferno line from Brunswick.

Overall there is more Storm being throw in Owego Bowl, Owego, NY than anything else.

I'll list my Thursday house, because on Mondays I bowl in a wood house in Gardner, MA and there isn't really one company that lights it up compared to another. I would say for ball companies Hammer and Ebonite win a lot of attention, followed by Storm and Roto Grip.

Thursdays: Lowell, MA
Most Popular ball: Storm Virtual Gravity, followed by the Hammer Hot Sauce Pearl

I think I see at least 1 Virtual Gravity on every pair in my 24 team Thursday league, sometimes 2 or 3...

Most Popular company there: Hammer, followed closely by Storm and Roto Grip.

At the beginning of last league season, two ball popped up in almost ANY bowler's bag:
- Cell
- Kinetic Energy

The Cell because it was an insider tip and the hype wahed over from the US, the KE because a huge bunch of them was sold dirty cheap to German pro shops who pushed them into the market at prices "You could not refuse". Funny thing is that the KEs mostly had funky ball reactions. Not sure if it was the batch or the ball in general.

Black Widows were also a very common sight during the season, esp. the BWB.

Currently, the Virtual Gravity gets a lot of hype and pops up more often, even though I feel it is rather excitement about the ball's hooking potential than actual effectiveness. Time will tell.
