Most Skid Flip ball
« on: September 24, 2014, 10:57:40 PM »
What is the most skid flip ball out from 2013 to 2014? Primarily when you have to get really deep and need the ball to turn the corner and get out the corner pins.  What is the most angular and just won't quit on the back end?

I'm thinking about a freak'n frantic.  From what I have seen that ball has crazy backend.

What do you think?  What ball and how drilled?

If you want something at a lower price point, the Storm Punch out seems to fill that slot for me. The ball is super clean early, but it turns over hard and really makes a jump off the spot.

Hy Road Pearl IMO.

If you want to stick with Storm, its the most angular ball I have seen in a while. With my low rev rate this thing turns the corner better than anything I have ever had.

Another choice in Roto line up would be the wrecker.

Drilling - go longer pin to pap.

Anybody have any opinions on a Violent Eruption?  I heard that ball was super clean through the heads and a pretty big backend.  I'm not sure that core lends to a skid flip reaction though.

i said this when the violent eruption came out....i think its hard to get that core to truly flip. itll be super clean still but i would still say very hard arc. most skid flip ball i agree is the hyroad pearl

I get a ton of jump and recovery from my Freakin.

BUT the shot must be shorter than 40 feet to get deep for me.  I have not fooled with surface, or I must have a straighter lefty to bounce off their track.

When straighter my move looks like this (mirror image)and my drilling is the same.

When the shot seems shorter, I have a move that looks like this high rev monster.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gOaNT0aJcE  check out move at 48 to 56 sec same drilling.  This I see when our shot acts like 38 feet and well stripped.

Humungous when right!

If I need to move more direct then Hammer JBT taboo creates more angle.  With a MB strong pin up setup!  The JBTaboo also likes carrydown more!

Both great explosive balls at the pocket, when action is desired!

Contrary to most  for me its the byte.  I be as deep as I want, and play any line...on most conditions.  It plays better on a deeper angle than up the boards...
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
