Most under rated ball
« on: March 15, 2008, 03:59:58 AM »
For me I would have to say with the current stuff it would be the Storm surefire great ball you really don't hear much about and the old Roto grip Asault line I still have all three and still use them all the time.

For me I would have to say Brunswick Ambush, this ball is a beast on a THS yet not many people around here throw them

Storm Shift.  This ball gets a lot of hate from mostly non-Stormers who like to bash, but that's a different topic.  The Shift has bailed me out when the others are failing.  Just go back to the Shift & save the balance of the game & the set.  Really nice ball, I just don't like the price o/wise I'd have 2 more, LOL!!

Roto Grip Mercury. I got it online for 59.99 and threw 298 on the Cheetah 2 weeks ago. They still have a few online. I would say get one for sure. I bowl at a heavy oil house and as a cranker I just take I swing it just ever so slightly with it at 10 at the arrows and 5 for a break point. This thing carries like a top of the line ball.

Ebonite Whirlwind and Ebonite Bash.

The cores that Ebonite is using in their low end equipment, which were high end cored in the 90's, are just so money. They are simple designs which will always work. The Light Bulb core in the Whirlwind is so clean and strong, and the taller skinnier core in the Bash (formerly used in the Ice's and the Werewolves) is equally as fantastic.

Ogre Pearl. Ball is one of the best balls out there. Just unknown due to it not being made by one of the top 5 companies. But is very good, do not ever hesitate to try it! You won't be sorry.
