Title: Motion Analysis Software
Post by: Scratch on January 06, 2008, 05:38:03 AM
Has anyone used MotionPro! to help you with your swing?

I was thinking of buying the advanced coaching edition.  I would like to know if the program is worth the money?  Any feedback would be helpful....Thanks

I purchased this program a few months ago.  I have been really busy so I haven't been able to use it much, but what I have seen so far it is easy to use.  I think it is a good investment.  Email me if you have any questions

I purchased Motion View a few weeks ago. Motion Pro and Motion View are almost identical, and as I compared the two it seemed to me that they were developed by the same company.

A call to Dave Hill at Motion View confirmed this. There was a split between the developers of this software. Thus, there are now 2 versions that are quite similar.

Motion View has a few extra features and costs less. Check it out:

Thanks, Ten & Sunset

Does Motion View allow you to calculate RPM's and ball speed like MotionPro?

Also I compared the two programs and they appear to be the same price, which editions were you comparing?

Scratch, yes the Motion View calculates RPM and ball speed.

If I remember correctly, the Motion Pro advanced coaching edition was $100.00 more than Motion Views a few weeks ago. They may have dropped the price to be more competitive.

Either is a good choice. Good luck!

NOTE: I purchased the Motion View Digital VCR edition. It lists for $299.00, The comparible Motion Pro (Instructor's edition) is $389.00. These programs allow microphone voice-over recording and the ability to burn CD's for each student.
