Women's US Open

Based on some tweets from the scene, it looks like the idea to hold the finals outdoors in Reno may be a disaster.  First game gals were in the 150/160s.  It was reported that you can see dust and debris on the lanes and "things are flying around".  The ladies deserve better than this!!!  Who comes up with these crazy ideas?

Basketball by most has been played outdoors, and most times without issue, but we all know the effects a windy day can have on the game and shooting. Imagine The WSOP Texas hold'em championship match outdoors and it is windy. Those cards would have to be held down with weights and it would be stupid funny to watch.

If stupid funny is the reaction you want, take bowling outside.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

It's understandable they want to showcase the top ladies but the BPAA knew the weather conditions they should of kept it inside the stadium. Bowling inside the stadium is would of shown the ladies true talent and provided a nice enjoyable seating for the spectators. What more could you ask for.

Considering the BPAA is supposed to promote the growth of their members facilities, their decision to hold the event outdoors does send a strange message.
