Valentino Bowling Products' customer service
« on: December 20, 2008, 12:52:42 AM »
I've never used VBP before and I still haven't, I just got my order yesterday but the customer service is outstanding.

I ordered my Christmas special and in the same day I got an email stating order received, then a second email saying the order was being processed and then a third email saying the order had been shipped receiving it juts two days later.

If the product is as good as the customer service, I will be even more impressed.

and to insure the ball is tacky.
This is a procedure I now also do, as the final step in almost every spinner procedure.

Whenever I use Resurrection by hand, I always follow it up immediately with a quick application of Remedy with a microfiber towel -- this gets any remaining grit, etc. off the surface very well.  I'll apply Snake Oil after this, and then wipe over the ball with the towel that has Remedy on it just to get a little extra tackiness over the top of the polish!  It gives me the most consistent, predictable results.

I have a microfiber towel devoted to wiping the ball off using Resurrection and only Resurrection. This will prevent contamination and insure a smooth surface for any following steps.

Remedy RX is the final step for anywork on the spinner, we recommend this especially for proshops.

I wipe all equipment after each frame and before they get bagged to go home, it take 10 minutes to get ready to bowl because of knee brace and such. And 10 minutes to wipe down every ball before bagging them for the night, including pulling them back out of the bag and wiping them off.

Guess that is why I have never had a dead ball yet, even had a Nighthawk menace with easily 800 games on it and it hooked well. That cover was rumored to be the same as the Chao's cover, I have always been anal about wiping off a ball after each frame.

bowlingnut - My bench mark ball is my Vendetta, I've had her since Nov. 2002 and she is stronger and flipper then ever.

I personally use Remedy every strike ball, I spray about 10 sprays into a microfiber towel and wipe the oil rings after every ball. Since Remedy isn't alcohol based it lasts in your towel a few games.
