Jason Belmonte vs Osku Palerrma

Why is it that Jason Belmonte is more popular and even considered to be a better bowler than Osku? What is it that I don't know about the differences between these 2 two-handers? I would actually argue that Osku is more impressive.

I agree. I think Osku is more accurate and would even debate more power then Belmonte. I wish Osku was on tour.

Jason is the better player. He has the ability to play multi angles. I have seen both in 'action' and it is actually how amazing they both are.

What in the world are you basing this one?  Are you running a CATS sensor when they both bowl?  Jason has 3x the resume Osku does...and for some reason you are saying Osku is more accurate.

I'd love to hear the explanation on this one.....

Who's  Better. Hmm would say who cares. Not a fan of 2 handers but would say osku can atleast make a show on US soil. Pba has given belmonte what 4 or more opportunities for him 2 do nothing but choke. Don't think its right just because what he has done overseas.

Although I have to say Belmonte is definitely the better bowler, with much much more credentials.

Osku can throw it just as well one handed though, so I think he wins the versatility category lol.

I have read about and watched many matches internationally with Osku and interviews and tournaments but the proof is in the pudding when he made the US Open show, the pinnacle of all bowling tournaments. So ya....he's pretty damn accurate.

The debate about which of them is better is definitely an open one.  Osku on one hand has made the show in a PBA Major, which is tough to do.  Jason has an incredible record around the world and has proven himself to be one of the best amateur bowlers in the world.

I don't think we'll see either of them bowl on the PBA regularly.  They can make so much more money bowling tournaments overseas, big money tournaments and high roller and such.  Plus, they can gain just as much fame and credibility doing this as they could bowling on the PBA Tour.  Until the money winnings on PBA Tour get close to matching overseas Amateur tournaments, we won't see either of them.  Disappointing, because I like watching them bowl, especially Belmonte...guy seems to have a great personallity and just acts like he has fun with what he's doing.
