Mouths- what do you do?

Hey guys I was wondering what you guys do when some one feels it nesccary to rip on you every week?

I got a dude on Tuesday nights that doesn't like the fact that I bring 5 balls with me every week though I rarly use more than 2 not counting the spare ball. After every shot someone throws he looks at me and yells ''you should change balls'' I don't mind it every once in awhile but every couple of frames and my patience is wearing thin.

Last night he heard me remark that I the head on the lane was burnt out because I throw my Nitro with no hand at a 4 pin and the ball actually flared up before it got to the arrows ( yeah you heard me right the oiler was all screwed up) All the rest of the night I heard '' the lane is slanted change balls''

What would you guys do?

i don't say a word----i let my bowling do the talking. if you can beat the "loudmouth" that's usually enough.

Yeah just beat him and don't worry about it. I know thats got to be irritating but theres nothing that you can really do. I carry 5 with me everytime but no one ever says anything to me about it, but if they did the only thing I would do is show them why and just beat um.

Although I agree that bowling better that him might do the trick, sometimes idiots are idiots no matter what.......Tell him to shut his pie hole!

If you can't ignore him, find something w/his game & point it out after he yells to you.  If that don't work, buy him a beer & nicely say "please, STF up."  Not too much else you can do w/out looking like a whiner.

haha if someone did that to me i would just bust out laughing at him.  That just sounds funny, the lane is slanted CHANGE BALLS...haha stupid people... but dont worry about it, tell him u wanna bet against him in bowling one nite to show him y u carry the 5 u carry.  I carry 3-4 and no one ever says anything to me besides "man u must b good, bringing all them balls" and the ones that know me know that i am good and i have won numerous tournaments so they wouldnt say it but if someone were to say it to me i would just challenge them or ignore them...

When someone comments about my bringing 4 balls to the lanes, my return comment is usually something on the order of "I'm not as good as you are; so I ave to bring all these." That usally shuts them up, because I'm usually 20 - 40 pins on average higher than that a**hole. Even if I'm not, they can hardly provide any retort that doesn't make them look stupid. I play humble while the ball I chose hits the pocket several times in a row.

I dont know what to say to that, but Im probably one of the most respected bowlers on base and some kid who thought he could be smart decided to shout out "NICE GUTTER!". I looked at him and looked back at the person I was bowling with because I got PISSED. I said Ill show him.

Gotup to the approach, stood on 40 which is left of 35 (right handed), and I threw over 30 out to the gutter and It came back and I sent one hell of a messenger and took out the 10 pin then I looked over at him and he had a look on his face I dont know how to describe lol. He didnt say anything else, but more so just watched.

charlest, what 4 balls do you usually bring and which is your favorite in your league shot?
