moving from urethane to reactive?
« on: January 20, 2005, 04:01:06 AM »
I finally purchased my 1st reactive bowl ball
last night. I returned to bowling several months
ago, and had been using my old urethane equipment.
boy what a difference! I bowled poorly, just can't
seem to find the trust of knowing the ball will
make a hard left turn. I'm still expecting the
arc, not the snap. How did you guys and dolls
make the transition from urethane to reactive?
The ball I purchased it a razor wire, drilled
medium (i have above average revs and use equip.
suited for light oil.)
thanks everyone for the advise.

In terms of looking for balls that arc instead of jump, you may want to look into pearlized particles, or lower load particles.  These combine the power of resin with more control, in my opinion.  Resin does serve it's purpose though, so don't think you made a bad pick.

I just find that pearilized particles/particles are easier to control, and more consistent for my game
