bowling ball advice...
« on: January 20, 2009, 03:49:11 PM »
I am having tons of trouble selecting a ball that is great for carrydown. any suggestions?

and while i'm getting advice on that why not kill 2 birds with one stone...i'm having lots of trouble keeping my shots consistent. i can't seem to concentrate and hit my mark throughout the entire game. usually not even 3 shots in a row. my mental game is totally off and i also have trouble keeping balance at the line. as well as putting maximum revs on the ball. i'll post a video soon but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Refer to http://www.ballreviews.com/Forum/Replies.asp?TopicID=225657&ForumID=16&CategoryID=5 for balance tips.  From the sounds of it you struggle to acheive consistency and shot repetition in general.  It's definitely hard to help until you post that video.

As for the ball choice, as long as there's a good amount of head oil and some in the mids, I'd suggest something along the lines of a T-Road Solid, Copperhead, or Rival.
