Title: Mr. Inconsistency

Last night at league, first Monday in 2 weeks due to sickness. Start the night off pretty damn well first game looks like this:

X 8/ X X X X X X X X X X = 280 my new high game.

I start to think, sh#t, I actually may shoot a high 6 possible 7 tonight if things go that way. Well, nerves from game 1 carried over. Went X 7/ X in the first 3 frames, then it was horrible for the next game and a half. Lets just say I didnt even break 560 for the night!! Final scores were 280,136,137. What a nice 553 series. I would have almost rather not have thrown the 280 and saved it for a time more worthy. DAMN I SUCK!!!!

Done venting now!!

BTW, i would be even more pissed had I thrown a 300!!

Got one just as bad.. Guy in my Sat league, 200+ average goe 116 289 2XX, don't remember the last game for sure.  We've all been there, but the real key is, try not to think beyond the frame you're in.  Don't think about what you might shoot or the night.  One frame at a time.

Rock, I'm struggling in my men's league big -time...I don't know how in the world I booked a 204 last year....but, hey, it's still early!

Anyhow........156-257-163..........if I did'nt strike, it was a split...but I made my 10 pins !

dont feel bad, i seem to remember the world record low series for 3 games, including a 300 (dont ask me where i saw this, the link was posted back in the eteamz days), was like 460-470, person bowled 8X 8X 300.... you faired a bit better then that person, so its all good...

Must have been the night for bad scores. I had a 54 through the 5th frame! Yes, a 54! Threw six in a row and managed a 199 (whew). My other two scores were similar. 204 & 213! Wasn't a good night. Lost 3 of 4 games.

My wrist brace is just like my RADAR detector, I really don't need it but it sure makes me feel better when I have it on.

A couple of weeks ago I went 156-243-158 / 557(?)

Talk about hitting my house average the hard way!
