Engraving Questions?

How many people are still interested in engraving their name or something else on their bowling ball?  We recently purchased a new laser cutting machine to cut fabric for production.  One of the by products is that we are able to laser etch just about anything on a bowling ball!!! Every once in a while someone will ask at the shop.  I hate those engraving pen tools.  I put some text in a script font lst night to test and it's incredible.

I wouldn't mind engraving Big Sexy or Mushtare 900 on my ball.

I've had a couple of balls that I wanted to engrave POS on.

Smash49 -- About 5 - 10% of my customers ask to have their name engraved on their ball.  Most are youngsters.  I charge $5 extra for engraving.  

By the way, I ordered a new Slide Sock today!  --  JohnP

Sandra said it's going out in the morning.

I get a few calls for it and was wondering.  We are able to put just about any font on a ball and will be trying to put signatures on a ball soon.  We can even bend the text around thumb holes.  It's amazing.

That sounds like a very cool tool.  We don't charge extra for engraving, and even then, we get very little call for it.  As others have said - mostly kids.
