Are you as tired of seeing these posts here as I am?
Unless you''''re posting to praise the way the way a company handled your cracked bal problem, please realize that it''s your cracked ball. Everyone else realizes that you have to contact the person from whom you purchased the ball, just like a problem with your car, your air conditoner, your vaccum cleaner, your shaver, your slow cooker, your dildo or your PC.
If you didn''''t do anything wrong, wonderful. Tell the seller: pro shop, Ebay dealer, internet place, catalog order customer service person. Don''t tell us.
There is no PROBLEM, with any manufacturer, other than normal business. Yes, some balls will crack. Fine, deal with it. I see no reason in boring us to tears.
You are NOT going to dissuade any of us from buying from ANY manufacturer, with your whining and b*tching and belly-aching. If you need a shoulder to cry on, check with your wife or boyfriend or girlfriend, someone who IS "paid" to listen to your whining. G*d in heaven, I am sick to death of "my ball cracked"!
Boo-hoo!
If you''re a man, deal with it in THROUGH THE PROPER CHANNELS. This ain''t one of them. If you''re a woman, b*tch to your man to take care of it for you, because ... well you know why.

I just posted about one of mine cracking in the Storm forum, but I wasn't really upset about it. I posted about mine because it didn't just crack, it cracked three times simultaneously and in spectacular fashion. It was sort of performance art.
Plus, it probably had 200-300 games on it, so what do I have to complain about?

<SARCASM ON>
Guess what? I've NEVER had a rubber, plastic, or urethane ball crack, but I have had MANY reactive balls crack, some of them wide open.
Yet, when I try to tell even those with cracked balls that we need to go back to rubber, plastic, and urethane balls, I'm basically told I'm out of my mind and that "those balls are just for spares".
<SARCASM OFF>
Seriously though, reactive balls have, do, and will crack, so get used to it if that's the technology you want. Remember, you ain't the only one that's lost a ball to cracking, and you won't be the last.

Amen.
But I would also like to add that the "my ball cracked sitting in my bedroom, why?" threads are just as annoying. If you would open your eyes up your not the first one its happened to. Its common. Not rare. Get over it. Get a new ball. Life moves on.

A+ to that....
But seriously... I really think that many of these post are made up B.S.
When I see someone with the name... StormRoto, or RotoStorm, or BrunsSally, or ColJoe, or Trackman, etc etc e tc etc... posting about a cracked ball, I start to wonder...
Why would someone with a name like StormRoto or RotoStorm be using a Seige???
Why would someone with a name like BrunsSally be using a Cell... Etc Etc...
And of course they always say, "do you think the company will stand behind it"
They hardly ever say the brought the ball back to the Pro Shop....
Personnally I think so many of these threads are made up to knock another companies msde.
I especially love it when you read a thread and the poster is talking about Brand X's new model, and how great it is... And you can just tell, they don't have the ball... But are just repeating B.S. hype that they have read about said ball...
Bottom line... If you buy a ball from a pro shop and it cracks during the warranty period... It's covered...
There is no need for B.S. threads saying "I wonder if"
And then they lock the thread without saying if the ball was covered...
Like one guy on the Brunswick site just did...
Oh, "problem solved" <<<< wtf does that mean...
Someone takes the time to post and kinda sorta Bash a brand for cracking... Yet locks the thread and does not answer if or how the problem was solved...
To me,,, that's a B.S. Thread....

I'm no more tired of these posts as I am of you parading around with a big ego because you think you're the greatest thing that's ever happened to coverstock preparation. Guess what, hack: you don't know everything about ball surfaces, and even if you did, the fact you average next to nothing proves you don't know how to apply the knowledge. Why don't you get off your high horse and give us all a break.
That time of the month, Harry?
Midol and warm green tea will help. My wife swears by it..

Wow, now Harry why the attack on Charlest???
I don't know or care about his "average" but as a real pro shop who stocks and sells "boo koo" ball cleaners, polish, pads, etc etc... I do feel that Charlest does indeed know something about products used on bowling balls...
I never felt that he is trying to act like the king of "coverstock prepartion"
To me he is someone who has done his homework... And to me he is someone that gives out decent advise...
And it's usually right on the money...

jls, consider the source. If Harry ain't whining about another BR user, he ain't posting..... He's got a chip on his shoulder for Charlest, Lane 1, & some users on the misc. non-bowl forum. Typical shoot the messenger & run, not debating the topic. All hail Harry Ballsenvygna.....

Monster, I don't know much about Harry...So I don't know if he and Charlest have a history...
But if as you say, he does not like Lane One sawheads....
Then how bad a guy can he be.....

jls and Monster Pike,
Thank you, but no need to worry. I could care less what such people say. As far as I am concerned, he/she/it does not exist. As such, whatever issues forth from any of their orifices is worthless.
Whatever help I try to offer stands on its own merits - if it provided any help to the person seeking help. I do not offer it to him/her/it. So let their apparent jealousy affect only them.

Is CharlesT and Steven the same person? Maybe thats why Harry doesn't like CharlesT.
I've had a fair amount of conversation with CharlesT and even had the pleasure of bowling with him in NJ. Though some medical conditions has slowed his bowling average, his knowledge of the game, equipment, ball abrasives, cleaners and polishes is outstanding.
I would recommend anyone with a bowling question to pm CharlesT. He's not a know it all and really down to earth.

Nic: I don't know what your beef is. You're in the wrong place if you can't handle a little constructive criticism.
But we seem to agree on Charlest. I do a lot of coverstock maintenance, and he knows his stuff. I've picked up a lot of great pointers from him.
