Got scotch brites.......help

ok so i finally got some scotch brites. I got the blue and the green ones. How do I use them? Do I just spin the ball in my hand like im cleaning it? Hold it in one place and do little by little? help me!

AM not A CHICK OF BOWLING but I wanted to be in Manda's clique And why would I "saw" pins in half, THATS A WASTE OF PINS! I'd rather blow it over with my storm, and 21mph ball speed on dry shots.

OMG enough with teh TTT, see if you cant google up some answers or something.  I get tired of seeing TTT in just about every post, and it hasnt been 5min since it was posted.

Take scotch-brite pad, and rub on the ball.  Wow its hard... scuff to your desired dullness.  It cant be that hard.

if you dont have a spinner, have a friend hold a broom stick or similar object in the thumbhole. spin the ball while holding the pad on the ball and voila! home made spinner. otherwise it is a real pain in the butt to do by hand.

Kid, in an earlier post you said you finally shot a 500 series and are averaging 140-150.  Rather than worry about ball surfaces, etc, focus on the basics and get to where you have a consistent release and are making most if not all of your spares.  Ball surfaces, a 6 ball arsenal (from your profile), etc are things that really don't need to worry about at this stage.  it's great that you wamt to learn, but you really need to focus on the building a good consistent game first.

i agree with the first post, but can understand that you want to learn everything about bowling you can. i would definately work on your spare game a lot more to the point where you dont miss any easy spares. this would really help your game out. i would also like to see your form since you post a lot here, but obviously cant since ur in pa and im in mi.
