What catagories do you earn money for in your leagues besides placement?
We have the rule that the same team/person cannot win in scratch and handicap in the same catagory.  Helps spread around the wealth.  I've indicated which categories my team holds 1st place or more than one place if applicable.  We have:

Individual High Average* - 1st and 2nd
Most Improved Average* - 1st
Team Scratch Series* - 1st
Team Handicap Series
Team Scratch Game* - 1st
Team Handicap Game
Scratch Series* - 1st and 3rd
Handicap Series
Scrath Game* - 1st
Handicap Game* - 2nd
Season Game Over Average* - 1st
Season Series Over Average* - 1st

Figuring that the team is guaranteed 3rd or better and the number of team spots we hold, the money should be pretty fair for each of us.  Individually, I am lucky enough to hold 1st in all catagories. Nice to have paid for the "habit."

The only awards that our league gives out for money outside of places would be 1st place scratch game, 1st place scratch series and 1st place scratch average. You can't take more than one of these categories for the year, and you have to have at least 2/3 of the season in to get the prize. Unless my average drops 6 pins in one week, I will have high average in this league (192).
