......playful rib at your teammates?

We are all in the 180-220 range (but then again, isn't every team? ) on my Thursday night league.

When one of us leaves a 2-4-5-7-8 or a Greek Church or a big washout, it's virtually a race to belt out, "OK, now let's get the other half!".

What are our favorite ribs out there?

Tonight... after throwing the first 7 strikes, I ditched a shot...  The anchor on the other team said...

"Ok, you found the out of bounds..." We're good friends... so I chuckled...sorta...  

I finished with 270(figjam, but I'm an idiot...)...  my team lost by 100+

I like to say "It's a good thing they paint the pins!" or "Careful don't hurt it!" when someone barely picks up a single pin spare. Oh and when I get tapped on a good shot I turn and look at the person I am bowling with and tell them "Watch out I left some blood on the approach."

leave an 8 or 9 pin and the responce is "don't you want to win", also if a bad spare shoter picks up a 10 pin "thats 10 we were not counting on".

I once said that in an official league loud enough to have it heard by everyone... almost kicked me out of house

But it was well worth it! We won by one pin

The guy I train with is lousy.. ok... just a slousy as I am but he is not that good with adjusting and stuff and when the ball goes high instead of moving or playing faster he even plays more angle to play brookly by intend! So when he strikes its "WOW" but when he doesn't (and he does not too often) I call it an Adler... his name is "Adler" (German name - im in Germany) so once on plays a brooklin we call it adler and if it is a strike we call it "Der Adler ist gelandet"

Well, around here we also say "Safe!" when a spare conversion (single or open split) is made through a slight side hit, so the pin just fall over with no power and maybe takes even out other pins for a spare.

Also, when playing the 10th frame and a player does not recognize he/she gets an extra frame, we usher the player back on the approach and tell him/her "hurry, play your bonus game" or "play the extra level, you made enough points".

5-7 or 5-10 is frequently called "the old men's leave" since we have some senior bowlers in the club who frequently leave these due to their release.

Or, at times, any player who makes 8 pins or less with the strike shot, is "in danger to be expelled from the club for lousy performance".

My favorite, one to be used sparingly, is when someone absolutely crushes the pocket for an 8 or 9 pin; "Alright!  You finally threw one good enough to get screwed!"

My favorite is when someone gets a strike I yell

"ONE BAGGER!"

If someone throws it in the gutter we yell HOOK and then follow it with:

"So what excuse is it this time?"

"Come on, ball!" On a strike ball, best for 300 shots.
