my center is reopening June 1st, any word on yours yet?
« on: April 21, 2020, 08:28:08 AM »
Just got an email from my leaague that our center is reopening June 1st. WE need to vote on weather to finish out the season or just call it a day and do payouts as is. How about your bowling center? Have they set a reopening date yet?

My good friend manages a bowlero in the Chicagoland area. He said it’ll be a while and when they do open there will be strict guidelines.

Mardi Gras in DeKalb says May 1 on their website. Color me doubtful.

Beverly Lanes in Arlington Heights thinks they’re opening May 1 too. I don’t see it.

If we get back to a center before June 1, I'll be absolutely shocked. Although, I will prepay for lineage just to get some cash flow going.

I'm also gonna need to buy my drill press and start drilling some Motiv stuff.

Stay-at-home around here ends May 8th, with very limited openings.  We have been warned that restrictions will not be eased for several months, and as businesses open they will have strict guidelines for operation.  I would also be shocked if we get to bowl before June/July around here.

Lightfoot expects stay at home order to go to June. If that’s the case........

You mean JB doesn't want to announce it?? Shocker. This is going to turn into extending being grounded for kids that don't even listen to the rules. That's cool. My beard game is on point, and if I can find a job 100% working from home, I may be able to cut down on my amount of dress pants wearing by 90% or more.

Dress pants?  my work from home situation has allowed to cut down on wearing pants of any kind by 90%.

Here too. Have only needed to do laundry every other week instead of every week.

On the subject tho, I don't expect our centers to open until end of May or beginning of June with a lot of restrictions

Edit: actually just saw a post mentioning June 1st for the center that's 5 mins from my house

No word on reopening. It is anybody's guess. It is hard to be optimistic about anything reopening here in Bergen County, NJ anytime soon. On the assumption that Montvale Lanes survives, I will settle for a September reopening.

I hope that your predictions work out.
