Yeah, I'm finally getting new shoes.  In case your wondering, i'm sporting the (literally) $7 K-mart shoes i bought when i first started up.  I just ordered some shoes from buddes.  The ABS tour deluxe models.  I hope the 13s are big enough, or else I'll be PO'ed, but that's another story.  I've read on here about how important shoes are and stuff, but now I suppose i'll be the first one to actually put that to the test and devise a conclusive review.

So basically i'll be updating this when i can try them out.  Maybe this saturday at league, depends on when buddies ships them and how fast they get here.  But either way, i'll definitely get a review in.  I'm expecting a big change, since my super 7's are at the end of their life span, if they had one to begin with.

Looks like i'm the posterboy for not only how important a proper fit is, but pending this, possibly having good shoes, too.

Andy, they'll probably need some break in time; maybe some work with a wire brush at first, so go slowly to start.  But after they're worked in you'll be amazed.

I just got my Tour Ultras a week ago.  They're quite comfortable and definitely an improvement over my Dexter SST's that I bought 12 years or so ago (which have literally thousands of games on them and served me well).

I'm still fiddling with sole combinations and such on the ABS to get the right feel.  I have to relearn balance because my old shoes were just so sticky that my newly-sliding sole tends to get a little ahead of me.  The adjust-a-heel is a great innovation that was worth the money I spent on it.

I like the replaceable toe cap on the Tour Ultras, too!!  I wear the toe on my Dexter's in no time.

Andy, if buddies has not shipped them yet, you should add the adjust-a-heel to your order and save shipping. You will love the adjust-a-heel and never use any of the other heels that come with the shoes. Before I bought mine, I couldn't find the right combination with the heels that come with the shoes. I have the tour deluxe also and their super comfy.

Adjust a heel?

How does that differ from Dexters interchangeable heels?
