well our thursday league, which has been a mainstay in our area for some 20+ years, is back. 26 teams, up 5 from last year, $30,000+ prize fund. anyways, i struggled last year, i just didn't have a good look all year. so this summer i tinker with my equipment, just experimenting really. i take my diablo up to 2000 and polish with reacta-shine. wow, what a world of difference. i finished last year with a 203, about 10 pins low of where i should be. well, last week, week 1 i shoot 694 with a 289 game, solid 10 pin 2nd ball in the 10th. this week i go 248 259 226 for 733. needless to say the surface change has worked! i am going to get better at preparing surfaces, i think  i have kinda overlooked this in the past. anyways, i wish all of you out there in ballreviews land a great season and good scores! stopncrank
