After getting some advice here, I made some decisions. Here is what I presently carry in my three ball roller.
Apex Addiction
Sling Blade
Vortex I
Spare Ball
The Vortex is essentially what I'm using for the really dry, (since the ball is pretty much dead, it only really works on the dry) but will soon be replaced by a Slay/R. The Sling Blade is my "first ball out" for light to medium conditions, and I'll switch to the Addiction if it's too heavy. I am buying a Big Deal next week to take the heavy condition place. What do you think?

so, big deal, sling blade, slay/r ?
why not ? sounds ok to me

Yeah. I like the way the Addiction hits, but it just never wants to come off my hand right. Hopefully I'll have better luck with the Big Deal.

Heheh...yeah. I only paid for the Sling Blade, and will be buying the Big Deal. Any recommends on where I should get it from? I have a bid on one on Ebay, but if that falls through, where should I go? I want a brand new, first line ball, not a redrill job. My pro shop guy says it'll cost me 260 with drilling, but I know I can do better than that. (40 for drilling.) An online proshop? Farm Ebay? Buy from someone here?

Try www.buddiesproshop.com
They are great over there and if you want them to drill it for you they can.

I just close my eyes and throw the ball

Ok, I've never wondered this before, and really have no idea. Should I look for a particular top weight and pin position??
-
Oh, and the peeps here convinced me to take out the Sling Blade, and I loved it.
It was my first fingertip ball, and I kind of assumed that it was a beginner's ball, but I really had no idea.

Just threw on a scorched shot last night, I REALLY need that Slay/R.
