My personal bowling web site!
« on: February 18, 2015, 11:36:04 AM »
If you ladies and gentlemen have time, please give my new site a look. Whereas ballreviews is a community bowling site, my site is dedicated to my personal love of the sport. It features reviews of the outstanding Brunswick/DV8/Radical bowling balls I have the privilege of throwing, videos, blogs, and more. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

P.S. My site is in NO WAY designed to be a ballreviews.com competitor. I will still be an avid communicator on this site. I just thought it would be fun to have a site dedicated to my own bowling endeavors as well.

Is it a browser issue? It comes right up for me on mine, and I've had others comment that on it (meaning they can see it) as well. I'm using Chrome if that helps.

Good job Gene! Nice looking and easy to navigate. I'm gonna watch your videos with Belmo, not a big fan of him nor his style, but the 2 hands style always intrigued me.

Congrats!

Thanks for the kind words! Working with Belmo was truly an amazing experience. I loved it at the time, but now that he has truly taken over the PBA Tour, it seems even more special to have had the chance to work with him up close like that.

I'm going to post review videos to that section as time goes on, but I felt the Belmo-Project Two Hands stuff would make for some viewing fun in the meantime!

Thanks, Joe; I really appreciate it! FYI, wix.com is free - they have pay services, but my version was done without them - so anyone can create and publish sites like these! It takes a lot of time, but it's also a lot of fun!

The stats come from the free bowling app (Best Bowling - Free) that I use during competition. As long as I input the data, it compiles all of those percentages and trends for me. I love it!

I remember watching your videos when I converted to throwing two handed a few years back. I actually got pretty decent at it. I ultimately switched back last year due to hip pain, sore knees, etc. If I was younger (turn 41 this year), I think I could do well bowling two handed. Too many injuries/ailments affecting me now. Even throwing one handed is a chore at times.

Posting those videos made me remember how much fun it was bowling two-handed. I was never as good at two-handed as I was with one; however, I threw some strikes that were super-fun. I remember one where the head pin hit the side ball, bounced and took the 10-pin out on the fly coming back across!
