because the right sole is made of rubber, not the same material that your slide foot is made of. It squeaks for the same reason a basketball shoe does. Its because of what the bottom of the shoe is made of.

On this topic, I know somebody, and this completely baffles my mind.

Hes a left hander, he uses right handers shoes, with the slide sole on his left foot, but yet he doesnt slide on his left foot, he just plants his right foot down like a normal lefty does, and throws a back up ball. Talk about wasting being left handed lol.

I use to use my right foot to line up on the approach with. When I pulled my right foot back it would squeek. Some of the other bowlers would say tht it was annoying. But some how I always knew where to stop listening to the squeek. Now I use my left foot and there is no squeek. It took my coach months to break me of the habit.
