Is this the same bag ??
« on: June 11, 2010, 01:46:27 PM »
As my NIke bowling bag circa 1987 ??  Mine is wearing out to the point it should be replaced.  This looks suspiciously familiar.  I could always remove the bottom plate with the cups and just fill up the corresponding pockets, no ??

That is designed to be a duffel bag, not a bowling ball bag. While it is obviously large enough, BB bags are usually made for more convenience and with certain internal reinforcments to deal with the weights and their shifting around. Most bags for 2 or more balls also have wheels, also designed to deal with the added stress.

While you can certainly use the duffel bag to carry balls, for many reasons, I'd urge you to consider a purpose built bag.

+1.  Worst I have ever seen personally is one of our league guys that hauls his one ball, shoes and towel around in a big car wash bucket.  Lol, funny funny stuff.

A guy in my pbax league brings his stuff in a suitcase he got at a thrift store. When he saw me walk in with matching 3-ball bags he said "that is impressive" I said what is and he answered "you have bowling bags"
