Title: My Son
Post by: BOWL119 on May 26, 2008, 01:39:49 AM
Just wanted to brag a little, I hope that you all do not mind.

But this past Saturday my son won a tournament. It was nothing really big, but he was outstanding.

He shot a 655 scratch with a 709 handicap. He even beat the person that was in the scratch divion. He won a $100.00 Scholarship and 3 months of free bowling at the center they bowled in.

Like I said, it was not a major tournament, but we are really proud of him.

That is awesome T.J. it is always great when they win. This may just be huge for him, as I know I did a similar thing in winning a smaller tournament but took the scratch division and my confidence increased, and since the game has a strong mental element it helped me out a lot.

Once again though, congrats to your son.

I know that when my son does something like this, it feels better than when I do something. Congrats to your son, & to you dad.

Congrats, nice win for your son.

And the three months of free bowling is worth more than the $100.00 scholarship, all that practice will definitely help his game more than you can imagine

Congratulations to your son (and you)!  Don't ever hesitate to post your children's accomplishments (I know I don't).  LOL

T.J.,

Congratulations to your son, and to you, the proud parent!

Watching one's kids accomplishments is way more enjoyable than what we may accomplish ourselves.

May you enjoy many more of these moments with your son.
