My Son Just Shot a 750
« on: January 12, 2004, 04:06:56 AM »
In a high school match today, my son Nick shot games of 236-277-237 for a 750!
For those of you who live on the Island, it should be in Newsday tomorrow.  Look for Nick W., Connetquot High School team (he's still in junior high).

No, he's had quite a few low 700s in practice, but I think this is only his second one in a tournament/match.  His high series is a 771, bowled in East Meadow last year.

Thanks for your congrats.  He's 14, in the ninth grade.  The amazing thing about him (and I've never heard of anyone doing this before) is that he shot his first 200, 300, 600, and 700 series all within 12 months (about 4/02-4/03), while he was 13.
