My Team Rocks - All Time High Game

My mixed league 4 man team bowled it's highest scratch game ever --

966(jumping up and down, doing the happy dance}

Not too shabby for a team with a 724 average.  I was low (wo)man with a 219.

I know that for most of you this is no big deal, but for us it was quite exciting.

Just thought I'd share the joy!

Lady, 966 is a GREAT score for any team.  Just fantastic for a typical mixed league.  Great shooting!!

Our team average is 809, and we shot a 1001 scratch. Our 172 average bowler shot a 234 - I think that's the game I shot 290. Don't remember for sure, though.

Just a couple weeks ago in my Saturday junior league we shot as a 4 man team 1033 scratch.

Friend: 203
Me:     279
Freind: 253
Freind: 298
Total: 1033 Scratch.

We were flipping out, i was running all over the place, then again it was major craziness, we had like the whole bowling alley watching us throwing our 10th frame.

Agroves -

I was throwing the Hammer.  I applied the Track Clean N Polish just before league.  Stood on 22 played second arrow bellying it out.  Hooked a little much but was carrying real well.  Only left one ten pin for the night.

Shot - 184-219-206 = 609  (unfortunately none of the games were clean)

I should be able to work with it as long as I keep it polished.  The ball hits and carries very well for a 13#.  I was very pleased with it.

Sorry to steal your thunder. I believe that a personal best is always a great achievement - congrats for the scores.
I think team achievements are sweeter than individual. When teams click, there's a certain feeling that is really great!

Mumzie -  I wasn't complaining.  I was just, as we say, "busting your chops".

This is the first year we're bowling together as I team and we seem to mesh well.  It's a good feeling.
