Days that make you go "WTF"...

Today I had league, and it was definently an interesting series. My first game was a very crappy 113 with two empty frames. My next game I switched to my ace from my phase and then bowled a 181 which is obviously a lot better, but more on the lines of average. Then my last game, still using my ace, I bowl 234, which is far higher than my average. So I end up with a 113/181/234 which equals a 528 series, and definently a wierd looking one. Have any of you guys had a day similar to this?

Well this didn't make me mad or anything, but when I bowled my second highest series I started with a 255, then I nice plummet down to 156, and back to a 258 for a 669 series. Not a bad series but a second game, could've been my 700. But I switched balls when I didn't need to.

Not a day, but a game.

So, how many of you fellow BR members have shot 10 of 12 strikes?  A lot of you?  Well, how many shot, from those 10 of 12 strikes.......a 229?  *watches as hands go down*

Double, missed spare, turkey, missed spare, 5 bagger to finish it up.

Last night as a matter of fact. Had my Triple-X out and bowled 141-128. I just had no rhythm. Got my old El Nino out and bowled 247. There goes my 202 avg for this league. I shot 678 night before with my   Triple-X. It is truly amazing how things change from night to night.

a friend of mine went something like 164-300-143, with a really low 600 series. He is now Mr. Consistency.

Andy, earlier this year, my 3 games had 10, 9, and 8 strikes.  None of them were over 235.  It's amazing what a few well placed splits can do to your score.

omg, where should i begin,


i had one nite i shoot 157, 264 with 11strike open'd in the 7th, then shoot 254, last two games i had 22 outa 24 strikes lol.  damn splits

a couple weeks ago i went 136-183-268.    

few yrs ago my monday nite house had basically a PBA shot out for the leagues, first game i shoot 98, switch balls and shoot 240, 210.

Yesterday, I was at a tourney where the lanes were divided into two.  The left side of the house was apparently hooking like crazy.  On the right side of the house, balls were going straight.  I was unfortunately assigned to the right side of the house.

I bowled a 4 game series of 597 (160, 147, 160, 130)!! (yay?!?)

Last qualifier for match play was 804.  Only one person from the right side of the house qualified for match play and everyone else who qualified was from the left side (where balls were actually hooking).  Most of the bowlers average 185+.

It's funny because it started off as though the oil was really heavy, however, as the game progressed, the balls just seemed to burn up.  Even my plastic ball would either hook or go straight.  It was the most confusing day of my life...like WTF!??!
