I decided to take only 3 + spare ball to league last night. Black Widow, Thunderstruck Solid, Saturn. I SWORE to myself that if the lanes weren't coming to the Black Widow after only 3 moves with my feet, I would change to the TS and down do the Saturn depending on ball reaction.

Game 1 was a debacle, but it was partly my fault. I spent a good deal of time Sunday working on a lower ball speed, and the back ends were a lot better than last week. in 7 frames, I left 4 splits. I doubled, then washed out the 10th. I'll  leave game 1's score out of it!

Game 2 I did a lot better, but I chopped 2 spares (DOH!) and only doubled the 1-2 frames. 175 with 3 strikes, horrendous carry. I put the Black Widow away and went to the TS (which I KNEW I shoulda done at the beginning of game 2, it was too strong after some breakdown in the oil)

Game 3 was sorry... for the other team. 5 bagger, a touch high left a 4-7, 3 bagger, solid 8 and a strike for 255.

At the least, I followed the transition and had a good 3rd game.

Next week, I am going to replace the Saturn with a stronger pearl. With the Black Widow in the bag, I don't think I'll have a problem with oilier lanes... I'll swap to the Thunderstruck faster when the Widow checks up like it did.

MANY MANY thanks to the guys who told me to play more direct and slower... I was feathering the TS from 13 at the arrows to 11 @ about 40-42 feet, it was money.
