I have:
Black Hammer: Apr. '83
Blue Hammer: Dec. '88
Burgundy Hammer: Oct. '92
Ninja RPM: May '94
Cuda/C : Feb. '95
I never realized just how old these balls were. All of these balls still hook wonderfully. However the Black Hammer, which flares quite a bit......hits kind of tinney, if that is a word. It almost sounds metallic when it hits the pins! What can you expect from a thirty year old ball, I guess?

Man! You have some real gems there! All of these balls would probably work very well in the low oil environment we have been seeing a lot of lately!
I am especially envious of the Cudas and that Rhino Pro!! Nice!
P.S. Sorry, I've got to ask this, Zanatos!!! What is a Buzz Saw Hammer???

Columbia White Dot (Solid Blue, 1981)
Brunswick Black Beauty (1983)
Columbia White Dot (pearl Blue, 1985)
Columbia Black Knight (1985)
Ebonite Gyro (1988)
All before I even heard of any high-performance gear (read: Blue Hammer that I bought in 1989, and still use to this day). I guess I should also throw up the disclaimer that I started bowling in 1978, when I was 4, with my first league at 1980, when I was 5. That White Dot was 8lb. :)

At a couple of the houses that I bowl in now, I could really do some damage with either Pepsicola's ball line-up or 9 or Better's outstanding AMF line-up!!
There is one guy in my Monday league that has been throwing a Rhino Pro Gold for like......forever......and he scores well with It! Unbelievable!

My oldest:
Lane 1 Cherry Bomb Pearl
C300 Burst
Erase It
My father-in law has two mint condition OG black AMF Angles that he uses. One is 16, and the other is 15. I spotted a few other Angles on the house racks at a tournament recently, and I was tempted to buy them so that my father-in law could have the only all Angle arsenal since 1983! lol
-
Lane 1 Cherry bomb
Absolute Inferno
Though i have older equipment I don't use it. I don't even know why it is in the house still collecting dust. I use these two ball s when i go back to my hometown

Is the Yellow Dot a bleeder or one of the remakes?
It is definitely not the 'Legend" re-release of 1991, that particular re-release had the "Legend" logo on the side. I believe the one I acquired was the 2nd re-release around 1983'ish?

Our center has three Brunswick Mineralite balls from 1946 when the place opened.
Did you know these balls were balanced dynamically by placing them in liquid mercury and letting them float and spin and then marked by hand?
OSHA would have loved the old bowling days ...

Not to mention the EPA lol
If they were floated in mercury I wouldn't touch the things, not even now lol.

Well let's see, I have:
Ebonite Clear Wolf Spare Ball - late 80's (still my spare ball today)
Ebonite Clear Wolf - NIB (for when the one above cracks in half, lol)
Loved throwing that ball during the late 90's - was my spare ball but there would be some nights where the lanes were so bad that I would throw it as my primary ball. Would love to find another on.
