Whats the difference if someone bowling really has to use the restroom, and spends 3 minutes in there, or has a phone call, what if the lanes break down? or anything else that can make you late for your turn or take extra time? I am a smoker, and I go outside for a cigarette after every game. Im almost always back when my name pops up. The people who are back when their turn comes, and still get "fined"? Thats not right.
Just because people smoke doesnt mean you will be there 5 hrs....thats absurd. Its the people that stand outside and bullshit with each other, those are the ones that need to be "punished" There needs to be a happy medium. Of course non smokers are going to complain about smokers going outside. And smokers complain about non smokers complaining lol.
Bowling is supposed to be fun. Yes a lot of us take it seriously, as I do also, but by having both "groups" complaining at each other, its not as fun.
Its the extremely impatient people who drive me nuts. Ive already told a few people about themselves, when bowling in a league, with my mom, brother, and cousin, someone wanted to bitch when my Mom wasnt there to bowl right away. Why wasnt she there? Because she was trying to get something worked out with a league officer.
