Are there any? Something with a performance core and plastic cover?

The black and red XXXL hook a bit more and seem a touch more consistient to me then the clear and Starburst version. If you are looking for a polyester to usse on scorched I would look for one of the older ones.

1)OP did not say anything about wanting to get one.
2)In the past 2 weeks there has been 2 Poly Sumos available on Ballreviews, both single drill.
The Pinnacle was produced in much lower numbers.
You just have to look.

I seem to recall Visionary had a clear-ish poly with a real core and there was also the Clear Wolf (Ebonite?).

Just for everyone's information, the Ebonite Pinnacles had a tendancy not to meet the minimum hardness standards.   The one I have measured only 68 on the d-scale.  Minimum is 72.

....but then again, who even checks for hardness nowadays?
