Title: Nearly blind man shoots 782.
Post by: HamPster on October 28, 2003, 11:19:21 PM: No joke. He bowls here in town, and I've been able to bowl with him on occasion at a small sweeper they have twice a month. He has to use a special pair of binoculars when he's bowling. His games were 289-215-278. It was his first 700, what a way to break through! He's a pretty good bowler though, he averages anywhere from 200-215. There's proof for muscle memory, cause he relies on feel nearly 100%. He literally has to get his face 6 inches from the ball rack to find his ball. He presses his face against the telescorer monitor to see the scores. Awesome guy too, couldn't be happier for him!

It's OK that I tell people that Sawbones shot 812, he's a righty. The lefties struggle in our house

I don't know which house he bowled it at, but one of them I bowl at, I could believe it, the other house (the one I don't bowl at) has its moments. Check my signature out, number 5 represents how easy one of the houses is. And we all KNOW that one's way too easy, lol, nothing from that house should count this year.

But now I can PROMISE that I'll finish the year at 220+ in both my leagues (one is 205, the other is 202), and I'm willing to be money on it . . Yes, my wrist is fine now, watch out.

I should be at 235-240

We had a 185 average righty shoot 771 last week. There were three 299's last week all by righties that may be at 200. Last night four 700's all by righties. One cat hasn't bowled in 6 months shot 279, 168, had the front 7 and threw the 8th in the ditch left a 10 pin on his spare then took it off the sheet. He may be a 180 average.

We have a Oklahoma HOF lefty that shoot 740 last week to get his average to 201. There have been no Honor scores by a lefty in this house in two years and we have some good ones.
